I use the Amazon synopses quite a lot when I am deciding on whether or not I want to start reading a book series. I am an Amazon affiliate and make a very small amount when a sale is made through my links. This helps pay the cost of maintaining the site (such as the web server and the server management.) This is not to say that the site brings in any considerable amount of money. In many cases, the site makes 1¢ when six third-party books are sold.
