Here is the last of the three entries I have written about my favorite narrators of Books on Tape.

Lisette Lecat
Lisette Lecat was born in South Africa. This accounts for the wonderful accent she lends the characters as she narrates Alexander McCall Smith's the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency mystery series. Her voice has a melodious quality which brings a humanity to all of the novels' characters. It is truly a delightful experience to listen to Lecat's narrations.

If you have made your way through the entire Nero Wolfe Mystery Series and find yourself missing this particular gourmand who grows his own orchids, then you might be interested in checking out one of the following authors. I am reading a Melita Pargeter Mystery, by Simon Brett. As I make my way through this first mystery in Brett's six-book series, I find myself wondering: Why did it take me so long to finally read this book?!?

So, you made your way through Carolyn (G.) Hart's Death on Demand Mystery Series, then the Henrie O Mystery Series. And you were particularly happy to see that Carolyn Hart started the new Bailey Ruth Mystery Series, but you have caught up with that series also. OK, Cozy Mystery site readers >>> I am (again!!!) asking for your help. I have received two requests for help in identifying two mystery series. (As you all know… since I have repeatedly written about it… When I started the site I ONLY had pages for authors I was familiar with… authors who I read and enjoyed. Now, however, with all of the recommendations from site readers about authors who they think belong on the site, I am no longer familiar with all of them. And, let's be honest… I would have to be a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Evelyn Wood Speed Reading Course to have read all of the authors on the site!)
