The author is not me and I'm not sure who it is. But I love the premise of the story/character and the "fat cat." I have four, one of whom is fat, and the other who joined our communcal group by entering the kitty door–even when I threw him back out. Sternly, I'd say, "I have enough! You cannot join us."

Last night, "Marley, the Man, slept on the bed with me, cozying and purring. He knew persistence would pay off.
