I just read "A Catered Halloween" by Isis Crawford. LOVED IT! Nothing better than a "Haunted House" cozy mystery in October!!! Also, I've read the first 3 Alice Kimberly "Haunted Bookshop" series and ADORED them ALL so far … have one more to read ….. Thanks for a great site!

I recently received Monica Ferris' new book out Oct 2009 – "Blackwork, a Needlecraft Mystery" and was pleasantly surprised to find it was set around Halloween activities. Of course, it has the usual witches and goblins, and I think people will enjoy the story.

I read Kate Borden's "Death of a Trickster" last week and really enjoyed it. I see she has written three books and I hope she writes more in this series. The characters are very likable and it's a fun mystery to read.

The Christmas books make me want to snuggle up with the kitty on the couch and read, read, read…

Hi Alfred, I read both The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding and A Holiday for Murder - by Agatha Christie- a few years ago... but I believe I still have both of the copies... She's another author who I enjoy revisiting every once in a while... So, thanks for reminding me about her Christmas mysteries!
