Gail Bowen is a professor of English in Canada who writes the Joanne Kilbourn Mystery Series which has, as its sleuth, a Canadian professor
Mindy Starns Clark writes two inspirational mystery series: the Million Dollar Mystery Series and the Smart Chick Mystery Series.
Ruth Dudley Edwards became a civil servant in London and a freelance writer after finishing graduate school at Cambridge. Edwards writes the Robert Amiss Mystery Series which features a retired civil servant in England.

I just got my copy of Ruth Dudley Edwards’ first book (Corridors of Death), so should be reading it soon… I hope! I am really looking forward to reading it.

My guess is that you are correct… I checked her website again and found that I could have been confusing one of the books in her mystery series with one of her stand alones…

I enjoy this site so much! It is more useful (and fun) to me than many others I have seen including Novelist. I haven’t seen any mention of Phoebe Atwood Taylor or Ngaio Marsh, though. If they are not on your lists maybe you would consider adding them. Thanks for all that hard work!
