Kim Harrison needs to be added to the witch series, she’s a witch who lives in a church with a vampire and pixies. The books are a hoot!
Thanks for telling us about Kim Harrison, Jaime.
Heather Webber has a new book coming out in January that she is writing as Heather Blake – It Takes a Witch, the first in her Wishcraft Mystery series
Thanks, Judith, for the heads-up. I have gone ahead and made a note of her Heather Webbers “new name” and her new Wishcraft Mystery Series.
Thanks, again!
Does anyone know when the next Shirley Damsgaard book is due out? I am having withdrawal symptoms. I love her and Madelyn Alt.
Thanks! Cindy
Shirley is my critique partner. Not sure about the next Ophelia and Abby but she had a new book come out that is a women’s suspense under the name Jess McConkey – Love Lies Bleeding.
Thank you, Virginia, for telling us about Shirley Damsguard being Jess McConkey. (You must be a terrific critique partner!)
I will look it up! Thank you! Virginia :>
Hi Danna.
I just noticed your request for more books with Witch themes. I remembered about Hannah Svendson. Not sure of spelling, I’ll write it correctly after I can check it. The author is located in the ‘S’ section of Fiction and Literature at Borders. It is sort of a “cozy-fiction”. Thru a mixture of Business 101, witches, warlocks, gargoyles and what not, you get a really Fun read!
The main character-human female-it seems is immune to the spells cast on them by non-mortals. Non-mortals can then walk about freely without being discovered for what they really are.
But our heroine sees gargoyles, fairies, and all other such things everywhere she goes. She is then contacted by one of these strange-must be going to a party characters. That’s when the fun begins! And about the business part…OH BOY!…what fun with lots and lots and lots of action and adventure!
Hi,
This is in reply to Hannah Svendson witch series. The author actual is Shanna Swendson. As far as I know she wrote 4 books in this series featuring Katie Chandler. Katie has no magical abilities but is able to see all things magical. The series was a very fun read and I was sorry when I finished the last book.
Sincerely,
Carol
Thank you, Carol, for the information about Shanna Swendson’s Hannah Svendson witch series.
Cindy,
The series you are thinking of is Shanna Swendon’s
Enchanted Inc. series.
Thanks Laura! Her books are great, but I haven’t seen any since her last title-”Don’t Hex with Texas” or like that.
Kay
Kimberly Frost has three from her Southern Witch series and they are REALLY good. Would love to see you add her to this list.
Thanks for such a great website! ; )
Thanks, Julie, for telling us about Kimberly Frost’s Southern Witch series.
The Stacy Justice series by Barbra Annino is the best. You will fall in love with her and her Grandmother and 2 great-aunts and the entire crazy family! Powerful witches who are charming, hysterically funny with a bit of mystery, murder and mayhem tied in.
Thank you, Camille, for telling us about Barbra Annino’s Stacy Justice (paranormal) Mystery Series.
