Laura DiSilverio (aka Lila Dare & Ella Barrick) Yes, that’s right! For those of you who are fans of Lila Dare’s Southern Beauty Shop Mystery Series or fans of Ella Barrick’s Ballroom Dance Mystery Series, you have more mystery series to follow! DiSilverio writes the Charlie Swift Mystery Series (private investigator in Colorado) and the Mall Cop Mystery Series (security officer in Virginia).
Mitzi Kelly Here’s something for those of you who enjoy senior sleuths. Kelly writes the Silver Sleuths Mystery Series which takes place in Texas, and features three friends who solve mysteries. These senior citizens are: always-dieting Trish, bossy Millie, and sweetie-pop Edna.
Cindy Sample Sample writes the Laurel McKay Mystery Series which features a woman with a lot on her hands! This recently divorced, single soccer mom works in a bank, while solving mysteries!
Susan Santangelo Santangelo writes a mystery series that baby boomer (and non-baby boomers) might find a lot of fun. Santangelo’s Baby Boomer Mystery Series features a recently retired baby boomer couple in Connecticut.

Ella Barrick writes the Ballroom Dance Mystery Series. This series features Stacy Graysin as its sleuth, and is set in Alexandria, Virginia. Stacy is part-owner of a ballroom dance studio.
Melissa Bourbon (aka Misa Ramirez) writes the Magical Dressmaking Mystery Series. This series features Harlow Cassidy, a boutique owner in Texas who is also a fashion designer, as well as a sleuth who gets help solving her mysteries from beyond the grave. (As Misa Ramirez she writes the Lola Cruz Mystery Series.)
Allison Kingsley (aka Kate Kingsbury & Rebecca Kent) is beginning the new Raven’s Nest Bookstore Mystery Series which takes place in Maine, and features cousins who own a bookstore. Clara and Stephanie Quinn are the cousins, but only one of them is psychic.
Liz Lipperman (aka Liz Roth) pens the Clueless Cook Mystery Series which has, as its setting, Texas. Jordan McAllister is clueless in the kitchen, but she is a newspaper food critic as well as a sleuth.
Mary Moody writes the Lucy St. Elmo Antiques Mystery Series. Lucy is an antiques shop owner in Massachusetts.
Kari Lee Townsend writes the Fortune Teller Mystery Series, which is set in New York. Sunshine Meadows is a fortune teller, which comes in handy when solving crimes. (Townsend also writes the Samantha Granger Experiment series for middle schoolers.)

Linda French is a professor of history who lives in Washington state. She writes the Professor Teodora Morelli Mystery Series, which features an nontenured history professor in Washington state.
Ron Goulart writes the Groucho Marx Mystery Series which, of course, is based on the real life actor, comedian of the 1930s, Groucho Marx. It is set in Hollywood, California.
Susan Hill writes the Simon Serrailler Mystery Series, which is a British police procedural. Serrailler is a Chief Inspector, and later a Detective Chief Superintendent.
Betty Webb writes Gunn Zoo Mystery Series, which features Teddy Bentley, a zookeeper in California. Webb also writes the Lena Jones Mystery Series, which takes place in Arizona and features an ex-policewoman who becomes a private investigator.
Don Yarber writes the Kip Yardley Mystery Series. This series features an ex-highway patrol officer who currently works as a private detective.

Carol Culver aka Grace Carroll: Culver writes the Pie Shop Mystery Series, which is set in California. The sleuth in this series has returned home to take over her grandmother’s pie shop. As Carroll, she writes the Accessories Mystery Series which is also set in California. Her sleuth in this series works in a very up-scale boutique in San Francisco.
Debra H. Goldstein: Goldstein is a judge who writes the Denney Silber Mystery Series. Denney is a student at the University of Michigan who not only studies for her classes, but also studies clues in order to solve mysteries.
Catriona McPherson: McPherson writes the historic Dandy Gilver Mystery Series. Dandy (Dandelion Dahlia Leston) is an aristocrat in 1920s Scotland.
Hank Phillippi Ryan: Ryan pens the Charlotte McNally Mystery Series which is set in Boston. Ryan, a Boston investigative reporter, has won several major mystery book awards, including the prestigious Agatha and Anthony Awards. Her mystery series has, as its sleuth, a Boston television investigative reporter.

Laura Alden: PTA MYSTERY Series: The sleuth, Beth Kennedy, is a single parent in Wisconsin who owns a children’s bookstore. The first book in this series was nominated for an Agatha Award for Best First Novel.
Phillip DePoy: FEVER DEVILIN MYSTERY Series AND FLAP TUCKER MYSTERY Series: Fever Devilin is an Appalachian Folklorist and Flap Tucker is a private detective. Both series are set in Georgia.
Sean Keefer: Keefer is an attorney in South Carolina who has written a Stand Alone mystery book which features an attorney in South Carolina.

Sharon Pape: Portrait of a Crime Mystery Series… This mystery series has a very original main sleuth. Rory McBain is a police sketch artist who inherits her favorite uncle’s Victorian house. Also inhabiting her new house is an 1870s Federal Marshall… ghost.
Debbie Steever: Stand Alone Mysteries. One of the mysteries involves two brothers who are left a journal (with family secrets) when their father dies. Another of Steever’s mysteries is set at a highschool reunion that becomes deadly.

Terri Blackstock: Blackstock is an award-winning (including the New York Times) Christian author who writes mystery and thriller series, along with general fiction series. Some of her series include: Restoration Series, Cape Refuge Mystery Series, Newpointe 911 Series, Sun Coast Chronicles Series, Seasons Series, and Second Chances Series.
Marion Moore Hill: Hill has worked as a reporter, as well as a Journalism and English college teacher. She writes two mystery series: the Scrappy Librarian Mystery Series (which features a librarian in Oklahoma and her dog, Rip) and also the Deadly Past Mystery Series (which features a young, single mom who solves mysteries at different historical sites.) Hill is also one of the mystery authors who contributed to the anthology-style recipe book: A Second Helping of Murder
J. J. Murphy: Murphy has based her Algonquin Round Table Mystery Series on a group of writers, actors, critics, and “wits” who got together for lunch on a regular basis during the 1920s at the Algonquin Hotel. Many of their observations and discussions would find themselves in the popular newspapers of the times. Murphy’s series features Dorothy Parker as its primary sleuth. Parker was a poet and author in the group.
Sue Owens Wright: Wright pens the Beanie & Cruiser Mystery Series which takes place in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The series features Cruiser (a Basset Hound) and his person, Beanie – Elsie MacBean. Wright has also written several non fiction dog books, which include What’s Your Dog’s IQ? and 150 Activities for Bored Dogs.

Aileen G. Baron: Lily Sampson Mystery Series… Lily is an archaelogy graduate student in the early to mid 1900s. Baron, who has her Ph.D. in archaelogy/anthropology has also taught in Fullerton’s California State University.
Alan Bradley: Flavia de Luce Mystery Series… Flavia is an eleven year old British girl/sleuth. Bradley has won many mystery writing awards, including the prestigious Agatha Award.
Catherine O’Connell: High Society Mystery Series… Pauline Cook is a widowed socialite living in Chicago. Pauline spends a lot of her time traveling, as well as sleuthing.
Chessen Parker: Crystal Coast Mystery Series… Clara Dare Ivankova lives in a coastal village in North Carolina. Parker attended Duke University Law School, and has, as her sleuth, an attorney.

Suzette A. Hill, an English graduate and ex-teacher of English Lit., writes the Francis Oughterard Mystery Series. Reverend Francis Oughterard, his cat (Maurice) and his dog (Bouncer) live in a British village called Molehill.
Virginia Lowell writes the Cookie Cutter Shop Mystery Series. The series follows the owner of the Gingerbread House Cookie Shop (Olivia Greyson), who solves mysteries when not baking.
Ada Madison (aka Camille Minichino & Margaret Grace) writes the Sophie Knowles Mystery Series which features a college professor/beader/sleuth in Massachusetts. As Minichino, she writes the Periodic Table Mystery Series which is also set in Massachusetts. As Grace, she writes the Miniature Mystery Series which is set in California.
David Rosenfelt pens the Andy Carpenter Mystery Series, which is supposed to be quite humorous. Rosenfelt has been nominated for four major mystery book awards – the Edgar, Nero, Shamus, & Barry.
Nicola Slade writes two mystery series: the Harriet Quigley Mystery Series which follows Harriet and her cousin (Canon Sam Hathaway) who is a clergyman at historic Winchester Cathedral and she also writes the historical Charlotte Richmond Investigates Mystery Series.
