C.A. Belmond writes the Penny Nichols Mystery Series. Penny is an American heiress in Europe who travels through England with her (distant) cousin, Jeremy, a British barrister. Nancy Coco (aka Nancy J. Parra) As Nancy Coco she writes the Candy-Coated Mystery Series. This series features Allie McMurphy and is set on Mackinaw Island, Michigan. Allie works in her family’s historic hotel which has a popular fudge shop.
Shelley Costa pens the Miracolo Mystery Series, which features Eve Angelotta as its sleuth. Eve is the chef in her family’s Italian restaurant. (Costa has her PhD in English and teaches creative writing at the college level.)
Kathie Deviny writes the Grace Church Mystery Series. This series features an Episcopalian priest, Father Robert Vickers in Seattle, Washington. (Deviny has both her bachelor’s and master’s in social work and is the wife of an Episcopalian priest.)
Abigail Keam writes the Josiah Reynolds, Beekeeper Mystery Series. These mysteries feature a retired history professor who not only solves mysteries but she is also a beekeeper who sells her honey at the farmer’s market.
Liz Mugavero is the author of the Pawsitively Organic Gourmet Pet Food Mystery Series. These mysteries feature Stan Connor and her Main Coon Cat, Nutty. Stan is an ex-corporate public relations executive who now lives in a small town in Connecticut where she makes delicious gourmet pet food. (Mugavero has her master’s degree in writing.)
Nancy J. Parra (aka Nancy Coco) Parra has her MA in writing. As Nancy J. Parra she writes the Baker’s Treat Mystery Series which has, as its sleuth, a baker who specializes in gluten free baking. Toni Ryder is the name of this gluten-free baker/sleuth.
